  • Design by That’s A Wrap

Creative design is the property of That’s A Wrap LLC and cannot be used, reproduced, or distributed in any way without express written permission. Client retains ownership of logos, trademarks, slogans, etc. used within.

  • Client-supplied design

While we will do our best to make customer-supplied designs work, we are not responsible for the layout location of said designs. We employ a staff of graphic designers who can work with a customer’s in-house designer to ensure accuracy in layout and designs. Depending on the scope of work or time spent on customer-supplied designs, additional fees may apply.

  • Color matching

Not all colors can be exactly duplicated by digital printing. We will do our best to match any specific color requests. Should you require a printed proof prior to printing, please notify us and we will arrange for a proof to be provided. We are not responsible for partial matches when no proof is required.

  • Proofing

Before any printing, you will have to approve either a digital or hard proof. You are responsible for any spelling, grammatical errors, number errors, etc. Please check these items carefully. We will NOT print until we have your approval. We are NOT responsible for mistakes noticed after printing with customer approval. Vehicle wraps are designed on a 2-dimensional surface, small variations from the proof are normal during installation and That's A Wrap will not be held liable for these small changes.

  • Vehicle drop-off

Unless other arrangements are discussed, we prefer the vehicle to be dropped off the evening before installation. This will give the vehicle proper time to 1) acclimate to the inside temperature of our installation facility and 2) dry from inclement weather.

  • Pre-inspection

At the time of drop off, one of our installers will complete a pre-inspection of your vehicle, similar to renting a car. A copy will be provided at your request.

  • Vehicle pick-up

The customer will be notified upon completion of the job. Should the customer be unable to pick up the vehicle the same day, please let our staff know at that time, and arrangements will be made to hold the vehicle until the agreed-upon day.

  • Payment information

For all services rendered, a 50% deposit is required before any design work is done or material is ordered. The remaining 50% balance is due at the time of pickup (unless other arrangements have been made & approved in advance.)

  • Installation & wrap warranty information

That's A Wrap disclaims all warranties on buses, planes, trains, RVs, custom vehicles, and vehicles with OEM paint that is more than six years old. If we are asked to cover existing vinyl decals, we cannot be liable for any damage caused during the installation or removal process to these decals.

A wrap is NOT paint. There may be extreme curves, deep channels, and moldings on the vehicle that the vinyl will not be able to conform to. In some small areas, you will see evidence of the original color of the vehicle. These may be small areas such as around door handles and the edges of the lights on the vehicles. A vehicle wrap is made by applying 60-inch vertical panels of vinyl. There will be 1-inch seams where the panels meet. On a complex design with many matching points, That's A Wrap cannot guarantee that the graphics will match 100% alignment due to extremely complex curves on the vehicle. A 5% margin is considered acceptable on large outdoor advertising projects.

Vinyl material is a pliable plastic material that we make every effort to make look as seamless as possible; however, there may be curves, bumps, rivets, moldings, and deep-channeled curves that the vinyl will not be able to conform to. In some cases, relief cuts need to be made or patches need to be installed to cover certain areas. Stretching will result in some shrinkage as it attempts to return to its original form/dimensions. As it shrinks, some minor tenting and lifting do occur and will be addressed if necessary in the 90-day period. There must be an excellent bond between the paint and its finish to the vehicle substrate. Any rust, bubbling, caulking, scratches, dents, or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface imperfections may damage the film or cause the film to fail prematurely. Areas repaired with body filler must be sanded, epoxy primed, and finished with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) paint or clear coat. Also, any areas with caulking need to be re-caulked over the installed vinyl. Any recently applied finish must be fully cured for a minimum of 30 days prior to the film being applied.

  • Third party installations

Full installation payment must be made before we install.

We are only responsible for the installation. Wrap vinyl must be 3M, Avery, or good quality air-release wrap vinyl. We are not liable for the vinyl material, the print, or missing print material. We are not liable for the paint condition of the vehicle when installing. Any rust, bubbling, scratches, dents, or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface imperfections may damage the film or cause the film to fail prematurely. Any recently applied finish must be fully cured for a minimum of 30 days prior to the film being applied.

Installers use a heat gun to stretch and reposition the vinyl and a squeegee to eliminate imperfections. It's important to note that installers rely on sharp razors to manipulate the vinyl and remove excess material around door handles and crevices. Even with the expert installers, there's some potential for minor nicks and scratches to the surface. That's A Wrap will not be held liable.

  • Cancellation fee

Cancellations or requests to reschedule installation appointments without 72 hours of notice prior to the installation date will result in a $250 fee.

  • Vehicle preparation

The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is “street clean.” We recommend washing the vehicle one day prior to installation. Please make sure there is no wax or sealers used after this wash. A simple solution of water and Dawn dish soap is recommended. If the car has not been washed, a $50.00/hr cleaning fee will apply and delivery time/day may be affected. This $50 is separate from the hourly prep rate.

  • Vinyl wrap installation warranty

This warranty statement applies exclusively to products installed by That’s A Wrap.

Our comprehensive warranty covers all defects in materials and installation. This includes full replacement of failed materials, removal, and installation.

This warranty does not cover damage to the wrap or graphics from weather, negligence, misuse, accidents, road damage, wear and tear, or any failure that is not a product of installation or materials. Any altering or tampering with the graphics installed by That's A Wrap will result in the warranty being null and void. No warranty is provided if the graphic was aggressively washed or not washed properly (see maintenance). Use of ANY AUTOMATIC CARWASH OR PRESSURE WASHER WILL VOID WARRANTY.

This warranty does not cover a warrantable failure in the event that the client chooses to keep any/all emblems or accessories on a vehicle and to have them wrapped over.

All claims must be made within the 12-month warranty time frame and are subject to approval by a That's A Wrap authorized representative.

In case of a warrantable failure, That's A Wrap's responsibility is limited solely to, at its choice, repairing or replacing the defective wrap or parts of the wrap. The customer’s option for repair of warrantable failures is strictly limited to repair by That's A Wrap.

Materials used in warranty repairs will carry the same warranty coverage as the materials they replace, but the expiration dates will be the same as those of the original materials.
